Famou US shipyard Palmer Johnson launched its all-new 65,5-metre motor yacht Lady M, which was previously known as Project Stimulus. UK designer Alex McDiarmid presents his latest superyacht concept, the impressive 120-metre mega yacht Stradivarius. Famous Italian yard Baglietto launched the motor yacht Monokini, a 44m-long planing mega-yacht, which is the latest vessel born in Baglietto’s family. Monokini superyacht was launched during a private ceremony on Saturday May 4th; she was designed by Francesco Paszkowski with interior by Alberto Mancini. Famous Dutch yacht builder, Heesen Yachts launched the first all aluminium fast displacement motor yacht called Galactica Star, at Heesen’s facility in Oss. The concept was presented to the yachting community in September 2010 at the Monaco Yacht Club and the contract for the construction of the first 65 metre FDHF was signed just one month later, in October 2010. Construction took place at the Heesen facility in Oss where the laying of the keel was marked with an official ceremony in February 2011.
