Wally is currently working on the construction of their sailing yacht Wally 110 which is a striking 33,5-meter vessel, developed for the company’s repetitive Client. Superbly penned by German Frers, she is due to be delivered in June 2016.

Latvia-based shipyard, Latitude Yachts, announced that their latest project, motor yacht Galaxy, has been sold and it is scheduled for delivery in Summer 2015. Designed by Coste Design & Partners, luxury yacht Galaxy is a three-deck luxury all-composite trimaran driven by two MTU 16V 2000 M94 marine diesels (2600 bhp each) that ensure a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. The estimated range at economical cruising speed at half load displacement using two engines and one generator is 2700NM at 10 knots.

World known Dutch shipyard, ICON Yachts, has announced that the hull of its Icon 250 superyacht project has arrived at the yard for work to commence on the new build project. Superbly penned by world-renowned Tim Heywood, the impressive 75,80-metre mega yacht Project ICON 250 is scheduled for completion in early 2017.

CRN, the renowned Italian luxury yacht brand of the Ferretti Group, launched the 61m CRN 133 motor yacht Saramour. Naval design and engineering have been done by the CRN Technical Department, while the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio were responsible for her exterior and interior design, with interiors created in close collaboration with CRN Interiors and Design Department. The Saramour superyacht is equipped with two 3512 C-C 1230 kW@1800 rpm Caterpillar engines that push her to a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.

Pride Mega Yachts has unveiled their new 108,8m motor yacht Tomorrow project at the recent Monaco Yacht Show 2014. Naval architecture is by Azure Naval Architects, while Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design is handling interior and exterior design. Construction will begin next year.

Vitters Shipyard has announced the beginning of the construction of a sailing yacht MM33, which features naval architecture and exterior styling by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design. She will be delivered in 2016 at Vitters Shipyard in Zwartsluis, The Netherlands.

Alice Huisman from Royal Huisman and Ed Dubois from Dubois Naval Architects revealed their all-new 58m (190’) sailing yacht Beast at the Monaco Yacht Show 2014. This amazing yacht is the project that the shipyard had teased a few weeks ago, revealing that the owner had commented, “Build me a beast. This has to be an edgy and innovative weapon; fast and furious.” Her delivery is scheduled for the spring of 2017.

The leading Dutch shipyard, Heesen Yachts launched a motor yacht Alive at their facility in Oss, which was christened by her Owner during a private ceremony. Alive is the first motor yacht equipped with underwater foil technology called Hull Vane. With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this fast displacement yacht features naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects and interior and exterior styling by Omega Architects.

Domintor officially presented their all-new Dominator D26 M motor yacht Ilumen at the 2014 Cannes Yachting Festival. Media, customers and friends of the brand were treated to a talk by designer Alberto Mancini who explained one of the showcase features of the design, a retractable ceiling to the owner’s suite that allows occupants to sleep under the stars. Company owner Dr. Pernsteiner was also on hand to explain the Ilumen’s revolutionary new engineering features including a newly developed, four-mode hybrid propulsion system.
