After having docked in a number of new countries, such as India and the Middle East, Riva also put ashore in Singapore where, on occasion of Boat Asia 2008 – one of the most important boat shows in the East – it presented its partnership with new local dealer, Hong Seh Trading. Francesco Frediani, Riva’s Sales & Marketing VP, represented the luxury Italian brand together with the President of Hong Seh Trading, Alfred Tan, who is proud of the exclusive agreement for the Singaporean market.

This year the Pitti Immagine Uomo provided the catwalk for the official launch of the brand new autumn/winter 2008/09 “Riva Luxury Sportswear” collection. Perfect merge of luxury with sportswear, the pieces designed by stylist Alessandro Pugnetti and the shoes created by Alberto del Biondi were expressly studied to target an aware and refined public.

The most prestigious exhibition for the Duty Free channel promoted by the Tax Free World Association was held this year in Cannes from 22nd to 26th October. The TFWA World Exhibition, celebrating on this occasion the 60th anniversary of Duty Frees, gathered as usual the main brands of different sectors welcoming a numerous and heterogenic public to whom the novelties of the market were officially presented. Among these, Riva launched its new fragrance: “Rivarama”, thanks to its licensee Promoparf.

The opening of the European boat shows of nautical year 2007/08 confirmed once again the winning formula of Riva yachts: an unmistakable mix of comfort, luxury, innovative design and timeless elegance that year by year keeps on charming people from all over the world. The Exclusive Yachting boat show of Athens, held at the Marina of Agior Kosmas from 20th to 24th September 2007, gave the chance to numerous visitors to come and visit the jewels of the sea produced on Lake Iseo and in La Spezia.

An amazing success marked the beginning of the nautical year 2007/08 for Riva. The boat shows that opened the season, held in Cannes from 12th to 17th September and in Monaco from 19th to 22nd, confirmed the exponential growth trend of the last 5 years. In less than two weeks, in fact, the whole 2008 production and a good portion of the 2009’s have already been booked.
