On 10 July 2007 Oyster signed a commercial agreement with RMK Marine to build the new Dubois designed Oyster 100 and 125 yachts at their yard in Istanbul Turkey. Oyster Marine Chairman Richard Matthews and designer Ed Dubois joined Mr Rahmi M. Regattas,
Oyster
For the past six years, Oyster Marine has held regattas for its owners around the world. One of the more memorable gatherings of Oysters was in Auckland, New Zealand in 2003, just prior to the 31st America’s Cup. That year, Alinghi, the Swiss team skippered by famed Kiwi sailor, Russell Coutts, swept the Cup match 5-0 over a beleaguered Team New Zealand. It was only fitting that for it’s 18th regatta, Oyster selected Valencia, Spain, on the eve of the 32nd America’s cup.

Yet another fast cruising yacht from Oyster with winning ways and a host of seamanlike features. Designed by Rob Humphreys and Oyster’s own in-house design team, the new Oyster 525 is the latest in a new generation of Oyster yachts. The design team have taken Oyster’s new g5 Deck Saloon styling to the next level and created a yacht that not only looks good but incorporates a range of features that will set the standard in this size range for years to come.

It was smiles all round aboard the new Oyster 655, which undertook her builder’s trials at the end of September 2006. The 655 is a new design by Rob Humphreys in conjunction with Oyster’s own design team. The all new 655 is, in many ways, a slightly smaller sister to the Oyster 72 that won the Rolex/ Royal Yacht Squadron Race Around the Isle of Wight last year and Cruising Class 1 in Antigua Sailing Week this season.
