The existing Swift Trawler range of the ST 42 and ST 52 is growing, and will be joined by the Swift Trawler 34 this autumn. This new edition benefits from a semi-planing hull similar to the one on which its senior siblings have built their reputation. The new model is a collaborative effort between designers Joubert-Nivelt and the Beneteau design team.

Beneteau entered the large Sport Cruiser segment of the market in December 2008 with the launch of the MonteCarlo 47 Hard Top. Its interior space and elegant, thoroughbred lines made it an instant success. The range is now being extended again with the launch of the MonteCarlo 47 Fly: a MonteCarlo 47 with a large sunbathing terrace. The external cockpit galley unit has been cleverly converted to provide access to the flybridge.

From this year onwards, all Antares models over 9 metres will have their length in feet included as part of their model name. And that’s the case with this new launch, which replaces and upgrades the 9 Series with 3 Flybridge/Hard Top versions. As the first Flybridge in the range, it is designed primarily for cruising, and retains all the excellent seakeeping qualities on which the Antares reputation has been built.

Following the tradition set by the MonteCarlo 27, 32 and 37, Beneteau are launching a 47-foot model, which will be available in either a 2- or 3-cabin version (unique for a 47-footer of this category). This comes in response to keen public expectation, and confirms Beneteau’s intention to invest in the large Sport Cruiser market segment.
