Amels has sold the first Sea Axe 6711, a 67-metre Fast Yacht Support vessel. The vessel will be build by Damen Shipyards and is the largest vessel in the Sea Axe range, the Sea Axe 6711 boasts 360 square metres of exterior deck space and 140 square metres of interior deck space, and will comfortably accommodate up to 21 crew and staff.

Burger Boat Company announced the launching of Sea Owl, a custom built, 142' (43.3m) Tri-Deck Motor Yacht. Sea Owl has been custom designed and built for an experienced American yachting family and is the result of an impressive collaboration between the Burger Design Team, Vripack Engineering and Andrew Winch Designs.

Moonen Shipyards in The Netherlands has signed the contract for its largest superyacht to date, the Moonen 133. Engineering has already started on this impressive order by a repeat client who has already owned a Moonen 84 and a Moonen 97. When launched in 2012 this will be the smallest luxury motoryacht ever to carry a submarine for 2 persons and 100 metres depth.

Moonen Shipyards has been commissioned for a unique project to finish a 120 ft yacht designed by Bill Dixon which was started by Royal Denship in Denmark before bankruptcy. Around a quarter of the semi-displacement motoryacht had been completed when the Danish yard went into administration in June 2009.
