Preparations Underway In Build Up To 2008 Rolex Swan Cup
With little under a month until the 15th edition of the Rolex Swan Cup, preparations are in full swing with over 100 entries already confirmed. Swan owners and international sailors from around the globe are readying themselves for a week of intense racing from 8 – 14 September in Porto Cervo. The biennial regatta is hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and offers some of the best sailing and social activity around.

The ten internationally-backed yachts of the Clipper 07-08 Round the World Yacht Race fleet arrived in Singapore at midday (local time, 0400 GMT) on Saturday - January 19 in a perfectly-choreographed entrance to Marina at Keppel Bay, the new S$30 million yacht haven owned by Uniquely Singapore sponsor, Keppel Corporation Limited.

One year on from the Club Swan 42 debut at the 2007 Acura Key West, twelve Club Swan 42’s will convene in Florida to compete in a dedicated class of their own at the 2008 event, reflecting the immense rise in popularity of the model and class in the last twelve months. Taking place from January 21 – 25, the 21st edition of the international race week will host the first event in the new 2008 Club Swan 42 Circuit and will mark the start of an exciting year of competitive racing.

Glasgow: Scotland with style Clipper crossed the finish line at 2015 local time (2315 GMT) to take second place in Race 2 of the Clipper 07-08 Round the World Yacht Race into Salvador. Having taken advantage of Nova Scotia’s tack away from the Bahian coast yesterday the Scottish team managed to overtake the Canadians and in doing so achieved their second podium position of Clipper 07-08.

Success For Swans At Les Voiles 2007
The ninth edition of the celebrated Les Voiles de St Tropez regatta has come to a close having welcomed a mixture of classic and modern yachts from all corners the world. Over 300 boats took part in the regatta, including 23 Swans, ranging from 39ft up to 80ft. The most successful performance by a Swan was, without doubt, the Club Swan 42 of Leonardo Ferragamo, Cuordileone, which won the 23 strong Class B in the modern division on its Mediterranean debut. In that class, Swans took four of the top ten places, showing the versatility of these beautiful boats.

Clipper 07-08: Nova Scotia Pulls Ahead Of Durban 2010 & Beyond
Now most of the fleet has escaped the clutches of the Canary Islands, the next 24 hours will see the yachts move steadily southwards as they move into an area of strengthening winds. The one exception is New York, which has struggled to move out of the lee of the islands and their overnight run of just 46 nautical miles could also indicate some sail damage.
