World Premiere Of The Cobalt Yacht 45 In Miami
Only a few days ago, the American luxury shipyard Cobalt - which is globally renowned for its high quality boats - presented the layouts for its first express cruisers: the Cobalt Yacht 45 and the Cobalt Yacht 36. Now the date has been set for the world premiere of the first Cobalt Yacht at the Miami Boat Show in February 2007. Generating a good deal of preliminary excitement, the Cobalt 45 will be presented to an expert field as well as potential customers.
Currently, a prototype is being developed at a feverish pace in a specially constructed plant in Vonore, Tennesse (USA). The Bremen-based yacht agency Drettmann, the sole dealer and importer of Cobalt Boats in Germany, invites all potential customers to the exclusive world premiere of the Cobalt Yacht 45 on the occasion of the Miami Boat Show in Florida.
"We are very proud to be able to show our customers the first Cobalt Yacht personally at its world premiere in Florida as early as February of next year," explained Harald Weiß, Brand Manager Cobalt at Drettmann. The European premiere is not scheduled to take place until autumn 2007 at the earliest, and probably first at the boot 2008 in January in Düsseldorf.
All potential customers are invited to fly to Miami with Drettmann, and the Bremen yacht agency will assume all expenses for the flight and trade fair visit upon purchase of a new Cobalt Yacht. The new yachts will not be delivered until a later date to new owners in Europe.

Cobalt's first yachts feature a distinctive form design. Specific elements of the typical Cobalt profile, which has advanced the Cobalt design over the years to become a well-known trademark, were retained. However, both the 45 and the 36 feature an innovative and characteristic construction style for the side windows. These extend across the entire side length of the yacht.
The new yacht models abound with innovation, not only in the exterior design, but also in regard to the interior furnishings and the diverse range of functions. With first-class interiors and customised cabins designed to mega-yacht standards, Cobalt Yachts set new benchmarks for quality, use of space, functionality and workmanship. Developed under demanding specifications in offshore capability and saltwater resistance, every new Cobalt Yacht is subject to a comprehensive test on the open sea as well as a technical evaluation programme before going into production.
To complete the testing, the shipyard has commissioned some of the best technical talents in the industry from a variety of renowned yacht builders. "The development of the 45 and the 36 is at an advanced stage and is on schedule, assuring an early market launch in 2007," said Constantinos K. Constantinou, CEO of Cobalt Yachts.
"As numerous innovative system technology features and solutions prove, our development team has produced phenomenal work in the area of design and technology for these exciting new models." "We can hardly wait to present our two new yachts," added Cobalt President, Pack St. Clair. "We are convinced that we can only enhance Cobalt's current reputation by offering quality products for the discriminating boat enthusiast who would like to own a truly special vessel."
