The new Canados 76 - World Premiere In Cannes
The new Canados 76, latest model in the flying bridge series, is a 23.5 m yacht in which everything has been designed by the yard thinking of a mega yacht.
From the great comfort of the open-air spaces down to the sleeping areas below-deck; from the finishing and the care of the details to the use of the finest materials for the furnishings, including natural matt oak, a white-colored parquet and wengé. Finally, the performance which in both versions of engine ensure excellent speed and top class navigability. The result is a fast, elegant and comfortable yacht engineered and designed by the yard’s Technical Department in collaboration with architect Letizia Guarnieri for the interior.
A quick first glance is all it takes to recognize the typical elegance and style of a Canados yacht. The external line immediately recall the family feeling of the well-known brand: the harmonic and classy exterior lines and the large lateral window, gradually narrowing as one moves forward from the stern, unmistakably bring to mind the tradition of the Roman yard’s production.
This new model replaces the successful Canados 72. Designed by the yard’s own Technical Department for the exterior and by architect Letizia Guarnieri for the interior, the Canados 76 debuts world wide at the Festival de la Plaisance 2008 in Cannes.
The yacht presents an absolutely original, elegant and fresh interior design combined with the superb finishing typical of the yard.
On the main bridge, the Canados 76 astonishes for the size of the saloon with dining area, in which the white-colored parquet, in contrast with the wall paneling in natural matt oak and wengé, evokes the furnishing of enchanting open-air settings. The result envisioned by the architect Letizia Guarnieri, is to design a space suggesting the idea of holiday and relax. Even inside the saloon one has the sensation of freshness and of sea air, of a summer cruise.
The ceilings, with flush-fitting BCM spotlights, are made with white gloss strips set into painted matt panels. The modern and comfortable wheelhouse and the large and technological galley signed by Boffi are located forward of the saloon. The choice of white Corian working tops and units and the dark brown Corian’s floor smartly matches the wengé of the paneled bulkheads.
There is plenty of space in the four cabins on the lower-deck: the owner’s apartment, the VIP cabin with walk-in dressing room and two large cabins with twin beds for guests. Aft of the engine room is located the spacious crew area sleeping three members.
Below-deck accommodation offers a light-colored carpet on the floor where beds and furniture seem suspended in the air thanks to the use of deeply recessed socles and the clever lighting that frames the furniture from below. Also beautiful and unusual are the four bathrooms, with oak paneling and the interiors of the shower boxes in colored Corian, matching washbasin tops: dove-grey for the owner’s and VIP’s, light-blue for the smaller ones in the two double cabins.
The finishing, the high level of personalization and the excellent performance make the new 76 unmistakably a Canados yacht.
