The New 560 Marquis Motor Yacht Introduced At Dusseldorf Boat Show
Very luminous and spacious Marquis 560 is a further challenge for Carver Yachts’ consolidated projectile capacities. Carver Yachts is a company of Genmar Group, American nautical giant with over 5000 employees, one milliard dollars of sales revenue and more that 200 different boat models, distributed with 15 different brands.
Marquis 560 has been designed by Carver together with BMW DesignworksUSA, design studio ranging over from car design to sunglasses, from airplanes to phones, very famous in the world for its sophisticated skills and technologies, able to preview with large advance not only products but also uses and needs.
The final result of Carver and BMW DW USA collaboration is a yacht with an aggressive profile, graceful lines, and innovative design selections for floor-plans and interior materials.
One of the main characteristics of Marquis 560 are the exclusively designed hull windows that bathes the master stateroom with natural light applying an innovative glass technology that creates privacy keeping a perfect visibility.
The 560 Marquis is structurally superior with a solid fiberglass hull using Knytex fiberglass technology hand laid to ensure maximum strength. No balsa wood coring or wood structures underneath the water line preventing any potential structural damage that can be found in competition’s boats that use balsa wood in their coring in their hulls and plywood backing.
All fiberglass stringer system, an uncommon industry practice, is laminated into the hull for structural integrity and ensuring an exact fit. Full structural bulkheads are installed into the hull and fiberglassed into place to insure additional strength and precise, consistent location. The salon features a double flooring for structure and sound/vibration reduction.
The 560 Marquis boasts larger fuel tanks at 836 gallons for extended cruising (3150 liters), offering the largest fuel capacity available in her class size.
The 560 boasts standard 23 kw generator, A/C and Heat, standard bow thruster, intercom system and optional Hydraulic Swim Platform.
