Sealine Has Launched A New Convertible Sports Cruiser
Sealine International has introduced the new SC38 convertible sports cruiser at the London Boat Show 2007. This practical and stylish model represents the latest design direction for the company. Light and spacious, with a distinctive new skylight in the saloon, the SC38 has Sealine’s unique convertible roof system.
The roof system, developed from the principles of the award winning SC29, provides enormous flexibility. This system is quick and easy to use, and very simple to move from ‘wind in the hair’ boating to a protected space.
For the more adventurous customer a striking yet sophisticated two tone hull is available: metallic blue and grey have been selected from the Sealine corporate colour pallet. On the coach roof there is a teak walkway around the recessed sunbed - a unique safety feature first introduced on the T60.
The cockpit is light and spacious and features new Sunbrella fabrics on the seating, which will complement the colour of the teak cockpit flooring.
The exterior and cockpit finishes have been matched by some equally striking interior finishes. American black walnut has been used throughout combined with natural woven carpets, modern upholstery fabrics and soft head linings.
The interior space is filled with light. In the saloon there is an innovative full width flush mounted skylight integrated into the deck and saloon headlining - a first for this type of boat.
The hull offers a very stable and comfortable ride with proven performance in varying sea conditions. Four engine options are available from the Volvo D4 -225/DP @225hp to the Volvo D6350/DP @350hp.
A new Sports S38 version will be available in the new year.
