Remarkable Results For Pershing At The Genoa International Boat Show

At the 46th edition of the Genoa Boat Show visitors could see a wide variety of models from the Pershing range, including the 46’, 50’, 56’ and 62’ at the booth and the 76’ and 90’ moored at the quay in front of the Ferretti Group pavilion.

A place of honour was also reserved for the shipyard’s flagship, the Pershing 115’, which enjoyed an elegant lounge area to perfect the welcome offered to visitors and journalists. One particular aspect of note here, is the interest shown by the lifestyle press in the design, style and advanced technology displayed on creations like the Pershing 115’, a craft that expresses the best in all the latest luxury market trends. It is clearly no coincidence then, that the 115’ was one of the craft most visited by lifestyle press journalists at the Show.

The performance of the other yachts in the range was also highly successful, both in terms of visibility and market results. This was thanks, first and foremost, to their superior quality at every level; from sea performance to immaculate exterior design, and from interior layout details and research to the careful choice of materials and finishings.

At Genoa, Pershing recorded incredible sales results that left nearly all of the models in the range with an incredible sold out status for the whole of 2007 and well into 2008. Of particular note was the performance of the Pershing 72’, a craft still in the design phase. Even before seeing the light, this yacht is already “sold out” until the end of 2008.

Significantly, the number of purchase orders placed internationally is growing and this goes hand in hand with the great confidence shown in the company’s construction process, right across the range, and Pershing has one of the widest ranges in the open yacht sector (from 11 to 35 metres).

The countries where orders for new productions are the highest are without doubt, Spain and Greece, but then there is also Turkey, Northern Europe and Russia, as well as the up and coming markets of China, Hong Kong and Australia that are showing an increasingly serious interest in the Ferretti Group brand and the typical advantages that give these motoryachts their edge.

It is these special features and the distinctive excellence of the details on every Pershing project that stimulates and wins over owners. This is particularly true of the Pershing 62’, the flagship of the shipyard’s successful Family Concept, and the legendary Pershing 50’ that now comes in both a shaft drive and surface propeller version.

A highly attractive and innovative booth, a reputation bearing witness to a solid, all-round brand promotion strategy, increasingly attentive, product-based designs and lastly, sales results that demonstrate real success.

Pershing image and style came away from Genoa as clear winners and the same is true of the highly effective co-marketing operation established with Murphy&Nye. The new Power Fall/Winter 2006_07 collection, born from the union of the two companies’ experience and prestige, once again aroused expectations and curiosity with a series of new garments that after going on display at the Show will be available at Murphy&Nye sales points from next November.
