From 2 to 11 December, Paris is set to renew its love affair with all things nautical at the Porte de Versailles. Over 300,000 amateurs and professionals are expected to attend the 46th edition of the Paris International Boat Show where a feast of sailing awaits, with some 1,400 boats (including 300 new additions this year) having set a course for the city of lights especially for the occasion.
This year, the Paris Boat Show will have an exciting new look, with 1,200 exhibitors, representing 1,400 brands. The 2006 edition will not just be bigger (116,000 m²), it has also been completely redesigned. The two new halls (5-6) will be entirely devoted to motor boating, for the first time giving the big french and international brands and yards an unprecedented chance to display much larger vessels. Visitors will be able to explore three separate sections: Sailing and Tourism, Motor Boating and Equipment.
This year, the Salon Nautique de Paris will be showcasing the themes of discovery, adventure and learning. With all the meetings, conferences, outstanding boats, pedagogic activities, innovations and literature, this new show will propose always more discoveries.
