Northshore Yachts Launching Southerly 32 in London
Following the success of the Southerly Swing Keel cruising yachts and the recent launch of the Southerly 42RST, Northshore Yachts have developed the latest and smallest Southerly in the range - the new Southerly 32.

Stephen Jones was commissioned to embody the established features of the Southerly within a hull to fit a 10 metre mooring whilst providing good live aboard facilities and excellent sailing performance.

The result sets very high standards which will appeal to many; a comfortable yacht with all the established features of the Southerly including the Swing keel, a light and airy interior with sleeping for six and the highest standard of build quality.

The Southerly 32 will make a perfect coastal cruiser offering a fast and exhilarating sail, with a responsive twin rudder steering system giving excellent directional stability. The yacht can be sailed with just one person on deck with an easy to use single line reefing system and furling self tacking jib.

The highly developed Swing Keel system gives the freedom and versatility to sail in almost any waters. With the keel lowered, the deep draught of 6’4’’ (1.93m) provides powerful windward performance. At the touch of a button, the keel can be raised to 2’4’’ (0.70m). Owners will be able take advantage of the shallow draught capabilities to explore different cruising grounds and secluded anchorages that otherwise may not be considered possible.

Southerly’s are built to individual customer requirements by Northshore Shipyard in Chichester, England. A considerable number of yachts are built for clients from around the world, supported by a network of International Southerly Dealers and service support agents.

The Southerly 32 conforms to EC Category A .
