New Absolute 52 Coupe

The new criteria of habitability and modern propulsion system characterise this vessel. Striking originality of design, icon of a coupè with a decisive personality, underlined by a slender profile, with a high broadside enriched by the characteristic style of the portholes. This amazing addition to the Absolute family will be exhibited at Cannes Boat Show this September, along with Absolute 47, Absolute 39 and 41 Hard Top, and 56’ Hard Top IPS.

The Absolute 52 expresses a new concept in habitability which is articulated on two decks. The upper deck can be occupied equally inside and outside to best enjoy all the common areas. An open architecture underlies this new functionality and challenges barriers which traditionally make a distinction between dining room and cockpit. The lower deck is reserved for night time and designed for privacy with three cabins, each with own bathroom.

The owner’s cabin is at the centre of the boat and is characterised by a height of over 2 metres all round, with private bathroom of generous dimensions and large windows offering a magnificent panoramic view and making this environment exclusive: a real floating suite!

This vessel also clearly boasts of the unmistakable Absolute style which combines crystals, precious essences, leather and other valuable materials, creating a refined and fascinating environment. The vast glass surfaces, opening panoramic roof and noticeable height in the dining room, cancel the perception of closed spaces, kitchen and living room appearing to be projected outwards. However, simply close the roof and the stern windows to rediscover the cosiness and intimacy desired at night time or when there is a chill in the air. The opening stern windows and the vast sliding roof perfectly integrate outside and inside.

The dining room can be occupied at the same time as the cockpit.
The position of the kitchen is strategic so that it can be accessible both from the dining room and the cockpit. Steam from the kitchen can, therefore, escape via the windows, avoiding bad odours from remaining within closed areas. The many portholes, windows and the panoramic roof, offer the pleasant sensation of being in contact with the sea, during navigation or when anchored, creating an indisputable sense of relaxation.

The dining room is elegant and very versatile. The decision was taken to highlight this deck: dining room and cockpit form a single open space, the sliding stern windows separate their individual functions, but create one view, while the opening roof allows warming of the area and out-of-season sunbathing, thus extending the period of use of the boat.

The cockpit is partially covered by the overhead roof and with the help of an electric retractable awning, can be completely protected from the sun.

The steerage provides for steering in standing or sitting position, thanks to the versatile, electrically adjustable chair, with a sofa next to it and a Chaise Longue opposite for guests. The control bridge is skilfully organised to comfortably accommodate the digital instruments for the motors and for the GPS navigation plotter with 12” screen.

The aft cockpit is furnished with a large sofa which can be converted into a pleasant sunbathing area by lowering the table to sitting level and adding a padded central piece. For the sake of functionality, a mobile stern platform has been installed, which, reaching sufficiently below the water level, allows the tender to be easily moved. The totally retractable stainless steel gangway is positioned upright, so as not to obstruct the mobile platform or the launching and docking functions of the tender.

On the Absolute 52 there are no boundaries between “inside” and “outside”. Each environment of the boat can be occupied simultaneously in unison.
