Marlow Yachts Debuts 86 cockpit Motor Yacht At Miami Boat Show 2008
The new Flagship of Marlow Yachts, the Marlow Explorer 86 Cockpit Motor Yacht will make her Debut at the upcoming Miami International Boat Show. This new model represents not only another successful launch for Marlow Yachts, but also represents the 100th Marlow Explorer Yacht to be produced. Considering that less than a handful have or are currently on the resale market, Marlow Yachts once again distinguishes itself as one of the finest and most sought after yachts in the industry today.
Built for a prominent and experienced yachtsman in the marine industry as a replacement for his 78 Marlow, this stunning new this Marlow 86 CMY carries four thousand US gallons of fuel capacity. Combined with a very efficient hull form, this new entry is ready, willing and able to take on the oceans of the world in comfort and safety with classic style.
To compliment the outstanding range of the new Marlow 86CMY, Marlow Yachts will offer this model certified by Bureau Veritas. Founded in Belgium in 1828, Bureau Veritas provides technical services worldwide focusing on quality, rigid construction standards, environmental, health, safety and social accountability. Bureau Veritas Certification is recognized by more than 30 national and international accreditation bodies across the world to deliver ISO 9001 and other certifications.
As a consequence, Bureau Veritas Certification offers the possibility of combined certifications to the largest range of highly recognized standards. Marlow Yachts will join only 7,100 ships in the world currently classed by Bureau Veritas (out of a total of 45,400 sea-going vessels classed worldwide).
The legendary quality and heritage of the 100 previously built Marlow Yachts is evident from the moment one boards this elegant new design.
All Marlow Yachts are constructed using the proprietary FULL STACK INFUSION© and RIVAT© infusion system (Resin Infused Vacuum Assisted Transfer) developed and pioneered at their own state of the art and environmentally green Marlow-Norsemen facility near Xiamen, China. Resins from the Epoxy family are infused, into Carbon, Kevlar and SAN Foam with specifically engineered biaxial fabrics to produce a monocoque structure free of rattles and leaks.
The stunning exterior appearance and interior accommodations of the yacht were carefully designed for maximum performance and comfort at sea, yet artistic detail remains true to the heritage of every Marlow. The unique placement of the three separate crew cabins located amidships insures privacy for all and a comfortable location for the crew at sea. Tasteful, functional and well crafted, the accommodations, including crew quarters are finished to perfection.
Boasting two separate entries providing both privacy for crew and owner as well as safety at sea, this unique offering is well able to bear the name Marlow Explorer. The transom area incorporates a large toy box for additional storage of water toys, easily accessed from her large cockpit. Once again Marlow has redefined performance, quality and value in one of the most technologically advanced yachts afloat.
Marlow Yachts will celebrate the 100th Marlow Explorer, the 86 Cockpit Motor Yacht, in high style at a gala Debut Party the evening prior to the Miami International Boat Show, at the Rod & Reel Club, Miami Beach, Florida.
