The LSX went from conception to completion in less than ten months. The Lazzara Product Development Team spent thousands of hours rapid prototyping (RP) drawings, renderings and clay models. The RP process represents the latest cutting edge technology in design, incorporating 3D scanners and a 6-axis router.

The PD Team drew its inspiration from the auto and aviation industries, from nature, and from the core values that represent the future of Lazzara Yachts. All told, the result is a living, moving masterpiece.

Production managers turned the design concepts into practical boat building applications that require just six months for construction completion. Employing the same philosophy used to build its existing line of luxury motor yachts, Lazzara manufactures the LSX on its 25-acre property site in Tampa, Florida.

Many of the men and women who comprise the 400 person work force have been part of the Lazzara family for over 25 years, and their commitment is represented in the quality of their creation.

Lazzara adheres to a strict production cycle so that all new yacht construction meets budget requirements. The majority of the systems, including custom furniture, are built by Lazzara owned companies like American Quality Furniture and Finishing. However, select vendors, who are among the top in their respective industries, are contracted when needed.

While the main configuration remains standard, owners can personalize their yacht by choosing their free-standing furniture and color schemes. In-house interior designers help with the selection of soft goods and upholstery. When the yacht is ready for delivery, Lazzara ensures that all aspects of an owner’s investment represent the best in engineering, design, comfort and safety.
