HanseYachts’ Newest Models On Display At Izola Boat Show

Izola Boat Show, Slovenia’s most important water sport show, will take place at Izola Marina from September 18 – 23, 2007. Visitors will be able to see as many as 200 yachts in the water. HanseYachts will present four models from their current product range.

The Hanse 430e and the Hanse 470e represent the entry level to their newly defined premium line. The “e” stands for epoxy: The hulls are a sandwich construction using Corecell structural foam and wet epoxy pre-preg fibre from SP-Systems, moulded using vacuum technology for uniform compression of the laminate. This system produces significantly greater stiffness and durability while reducing weight. This, along with top-quality standard equipment, results in very high resale values for Hanse yachts.

In Slovenia for the first time: The brand-new Hanse 320 and Hanse 350 are captivating sailors with impressive sailing characteristics and incredible space on and below deck. With an upwind sail area of more than 51/65 square metres and modern “T” speed keels, judel/vrolijk & co.’s design promises to give these new models a speed potential unequalled in their class.

Below deck, the interior design experts at HanseYachts optimised the living space and added new elements of style for a more spacious and luxurious interior. Flush hatches and one opening port on either side of the cabin top provide ample light and fresh air. Tinted ports are characteristic of these new Hanse models and a feature shared with their larger sisters.

One thing has always been a priority for HanseYachts - making sure sailing is pure fun! A variety of clever details make safe manoeuvring child’s play: The self-tacking jib, fully battened mainsail, ingenious single-line reefing system, and standard main drop system allcontribute to above-average performance and easy handling. These characteristics are common to all Hanse yachts.

The Izola Boat Show will open its doors for the sixth consecutive year. During the 18th and 23rd of September, menagement expects over 15,000 visitors to the Marina Izola to view approximately 200 vessels in water and a number of supplemental show events.
