Great Success Of The Linssen Yachts at Boot Düsseldorf 2008

Linssen Yachts, builder of steel motor yachts in series under the Linssen Grand Sturdy brand name, based in the southern Netherlands on the River Meuse, reports good attendance at “BOOT Düsseldorf 2008”.

“We have registered many visitors from abroad, which confirms the remarkable international platform that BOOT Düsseldorf presents. Our international dealers who participated at the show noticed increased numbers of prospective buyers. We have concluded eleven firm orders to date in both the Linssen Mark II and “9” series, which represents a turnover of approximately €5.2 Million” says Ed Houben, sales manager of Linssen Yachts BV.

“Although we were pleasantly surprised by the high number of visitors from promising new markets, we welcomed many customers from our traditional markets such as Benelux, Germany, UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, etc.”

Linssen exhibited five models from their current broad range, starting with the Grand Sturdy 33.9 AC, followed by the recently launched Grand Sturdy 40.9 AC and Sedan, as well as the Grand Sturdy 470 AC and the Grand Sturdy 500 Variotop® in the Mark II series.

The new 40.9 models, which were being shown for the first time in Germany, particularly attracted a great deal of attention at the Linssen stand in Hall 15. Since their introduction at the Linssen Yachts Boat Show 2007 last December, over 50 orders have been placed. International dealers have secured their building slots in the planning schedule to ensure competitive lead times.
