Genoa Boat Show 7th-15th October 2006
The 46th edition of the Genoa Boat Show has come to an end after registering results that demonstrate a significant growth not just for the event, but for the whole yachting sector in general. The increasingly global dimension of the Show was particularly displayed this year (over 1,650 exhibitors and 2200 boats on display, an increase of 7% compared to 2005) with a huge percentage (36%) of foreign exhibitors.

The Show, therefore, continues to assert its standing as a major event in the panorama of world yachting and today, it can count on significantly amplified and updated structures, such as the New Marina, a stretch of water that offers moorings amounting to 100,000 m².

In terms of pavilion, quay and open air functionality and versatility, these additions have transformed the Genoa trade fair complex into a unique world leader and the number one venue in Europe in terms of visitor capacity and service quality.

In this sense, the Genoa Boat Show has also become an ideal context and opportunity for Pershing to confirm its more than satisfying business trend with concrete results. Starting from the display areas, this is the first time ever that all the Ferretti Group brands have been united in one single, splendid booth.

With its enlarged and updated surface space, service and welcome, the pavilion had a real “Crystal Place “ impact. A new location, therefore, for Pershing and a break with tradition that in no way stemmed the flow of visitors and celebrities that flocked to the shipyard’s display areas.
