Ferretti 592 - World Preview At The Genoa Boat Show 2007
Presented as a worldwide preview at 47th Genoa International Boat Show, the Ferretti 592 retains the strengths that ensured the success of the previous models, Ferretti 590 and Ferretti 591. The 592 has the sleek profile and the large open view windows that make Ferretti yachts stand out wherever they are in the world, while featuring brighter, more contemporary fittings.
A product of the well-established partnership between Studio Zuccon International Project, which was responsible for the superstructure and interior layout, and the AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology - Ferretti Yachts Engineering Division, which handled the propulsion and hull, Ferretti 592 is a perfect mix of design and performance.
Extending the window area provides an almost unbroken view and floods the living area with natural light.
Relocating the galley aft allows better use of space and greater comfort and convenience - by opening the tilting windows it's possible to create a single open space uniting cockpit, galley and living area, emphasising the atmosphere of sociability and enjoyment.
The full-beam owner’s cabin created in the night area, with two open view windows and chaise longue, is comparable to the owner’s suite on a much larger yacht. It is joined by a VIP cabin forward and the twin guest cabin, all with private bathroom.
The exterior layout offers ample opportunities to enjoy the sun and sea. The flybridge, without rollbar, offers a large sunpad forward of command console, together with a comfortable U-shaped sofa around the table, next to the fridge and grill area.
Two steps separate the galley from the living area, which is furnished with large sofas and an extending table to starboard, while to port is a two-seat divan. The combination of woods chosen for the furniture is opaque gold and the light divans makes the interiors especially bright and spacious.
The command console is raised to provide maximum visibility.
Below decks the Ferretti 592 offers the full-beam master cabin that is a typical feature of larger Ferretti yachts - wide open-view windows with opening sections, private wardrobe and bathroom with separate shower in gold opaque and glass fibre, also chosen for the other bathrooms.
Alongside the master cabin the accommodation also includes a double and twin cabin with parallel beds, both with private bathroom and separate shower. Two such large cabins in a yacht of less than 60 feet provides an extremely popular plus, proof that the public recognises the potential of the design solutions adopted by Ferretti Yachts.
Thanks to care given to the design of this yacht the third cabin on the Ferretti 592, with its two parallel single beds, is an extremely comfortable space, where the layout has created room for a capacious cupboard for clothes and travel bags.
In terms of performance, the Ferretti 592 can be fitted with two 900 or 1100 MAN engines. The more powerful option provides a cruising speed of 30 knots and a maximum speed of 33.5 knots.
