The 72’ is the entry level model of the actual Canados range. With an overall length (LOA) of 75 feet, this yacht fully represents the yard’s philosophy: design and build unique yachts for each customer.

In addition to a quality construction, the yacht provides precious refinements, sober interior design and the opportunity to tailor the product to your need: a customized yacht for each ship owner. The layout foresees large saloon and dining in the main deck. 4 cabins with 4 separate bathrooms in the lower deck. A large fly bridge and a comfortable crew area on the bow of the yacht.
The elegant and captivating exterior line makes the yacht recognizable at first sight. She presents a slim bow and a fine superstructure enriched by a large front window and two geometric side windows which emphasize the yacht dynamic look. A beautiful line to withstand time.
The two teak stairs on the sides of the engine room door provide comfortable access to the deck. Two rounded stainless steel hand rail are perfectly fitted with the rounded shape of the door. The stairs’ lightly inclined position gives the large bathing platform a more deepness.
The all teak aft deck is equipped with a welcoming sofa with water resistant cushions and pillows, a wood table and chairs comfortably accommodating 8 people .
The large size side walking, also in teak, guarantee an easy and comfortable passage from aft to bow even in manoeuvring. A elegant teak washboard and a stainless steel hand rail complete the outside deck.
In the wide bow area of the yacht you have a large sun pad, separated from the anchor manoeuvre area, this equipped with a remote controlled electric winch of 2500 Watt. Two large storage places for fenders are on the sides of the sun pad.
From the right side of the aft deck a stair leads to the flybridge, an area of open air saloon which, for its size, is typically founded on bigger yachts. The layout foresees on the left a L-shaped sofa with water resistant cushions built around a foldable table and a large sun pad protected by a tempered glass wind-shield with stainless steel frame where to enjoy cruising. On the right the outside steering position, equipped with a seating for pilot and co-pilot and a grill/bar furniture (optional) makes the flybridge an independent area for cruising. The 600 kg gruette to get the tender in the water is placed at the aft of the fly thus ensuring more guest space and easy manoeuvring.
A tempered glass sliding door gives you access to the main living, the queen area of the yacht and a perfect example of the style and the refinement of the teachers of axe that build this yacht. According to customer wishes, interiors are realized in different wood, from cherry wood to wengè and other wood essence. The far most requested layout presents a conversational area with a L-shaped sofa and a coffee table on one side and a low furniture piece on the opposite side from where the wide LCD TV screen appear and disappear at the touch of a button.
Just by opening a draw you get immediately the feeling of the maniacal care and the refinement of the work; squared or rounded surfaced, the result does not change. Quality. That’s what you will see. The quality of refinements is thus combined with the functionality to improve life on board. Every shelf or draw is designed to perfectly accommodate definite objects; from stoves to plates from glasses to bottles. The combination of wood walls and lacquered ceiling panels make the living light full and bright yet extremely elegant.
Modern design features the high quality venetian blinds that let to regulate flow of natural light in the living from the generous windows of the yacht. At night, light diffusion spots inserted in the ceiling and designer lights on the furniture assure a perfect atmosphere in the main deck.
Moving forward, on the right side, a wood sliding door provide access to the galley, a separated space with wood furniture combined with steel elements, in line with the sober and elegant style of the yacht. This extra large area allowed the designers to fit a fully equipped kitchen: washing machine, oven, fridge and freezer, cooking board in ceramic glass, hood in steel, work top in corian or marble and a double lavabo.
The dining room, on the left side of the main deck can easily accommodate 8 people on a L-shaped sofa and 4 stylish chairs. Thanks to its position the dining area benefits from incredible natural light from both front and side windows.
The pilothouse is placed at the centre-aft of the yacht. Ceiling wood panels and furniture are in contrast with the elegant leather coach, seat and dashboard with latest instruments and electronics to keep under control engines, safety systems and alarms.
The lower deck is dedicated to 4 large cabins and 4 private bathrooms, with the full beam master apartment at the centre of the yacht (4 large vertical portals assure great natural light). The master cabin is equipped with Hifi system, LDC TV screen, DVD player, air-conditioning, walk in closet and a bathroom with large separated shower.
The generous size VIP cabin and two double bed cabins (with optional third bed) are reserved to guests. Leather, elegant lines, marble or corian bathroom tops and lacquered ceiling panels makes this area a luxurious place to rest for the ship owner and his guest.
One cabin and a bathroom for two crew members placed at the bow of the yacht are designed and built in line with the yacht providing luxury and functionality also for the crew.
The construction is in sandwich stratified fibreglass for the deck, the super structure and the hull. The bottom of the hull is laminated in monolithic glass with vinylester resin external layers.
Accessing the engine room, completely thermo-isolated, you could not notice the large and technological space where everything is handy and easy to operate. You’re in the engine room of a Canados: an engine room envied by many other yard.
An additional area for storage and laundry is also available.
A teak bathing platform electro-idraulically operated (optional) goes down to water level for motorbike download or just fun bathing.
In addition to comfort, safety and personalization, typically present in custom yachts, Canados 72’ offers the choice of two engines which both assure noticeable performances. In fact, equipped with 2 CAT 3412 E of 1420 Hp or with 2 MAN V12 of 1350 Hp each, she can easily reach a top speed of 32 knots and 27/28 cruising speed, a lot for its class, yet ensuring first class handling and manoeuvrability for a totally comfortable experience.
