Canados 110’ Mikimar - The Real Protagonist At The “World Yachts Trophies”

Thanks to the original design of its interiors, the Canados 110’ Mikimar, the largest yacht of the fly-bridge range of the yard, has outclassed its competitors, winning the south-after “World Yachts Trophies Award” as best yacht over 24 meters in the Interior Design category. The ceremony took place on 15th September on the occasion of the usual gala evening organized by LuxMedia Group during the Festival de la Plaisance.

The Canados Mikimar outperformed the numerous yachts in the competition, thanks to the sophisticated and harmonious design of its interiors, a project in collaboration with Salvagni Architetti of Rome, which is characterized by flexibility, continuity, and the skilful use of lighting.

The award — one of the most sought-after in the luxury yachting sector — has been hand out to Maurizio Baldoni, the new chief executive officer of Canados International and to the architect Achille Salvagni, who designed the interiors.

All participants at the event paid a special tribute to Maurizio Baldoni with a long applause.

“We are very pleased to receive this important award for a yacht that is an excellent example of the level of customization offered, by Canados’ yard, to its customers”, has stated Maurizio Baldoni, who leads the Roman shipyard since April 2007. “This prize means a lot for the yard and for the people who work at Canados and it shows the company real potential. Canados has entered a new era, fostering new and ambitious objectives”.
