Aegen Yacht Announced The Launching Of Motorsailer Rosa

The leading Turkish yachtbuilder Aegean Yacht announced the launching of the new luxury 24 m Motorsailer Rosa in July 2008. Rosa is a classic steel ketch with an elegant and everlasting design. She is an ultra spacy and serious blue water vessel both for the commercial and private yacht owners. The 7.65 m breadth of the yacht allowed the builders to create the concept of a functional, comfortable leisure cruising vessel.She boasts an extraordinary volume for a yacht of her length.

The enormous 48 m2 aft deck has plenty of room for relaxing, alfresco dinners and parties. The fore deck will be a favorite spot for sunbathing, not to mention water sports from fishing and diving, to swimming and snorkeling.

Inside, the yacht has a spacious 35 m2 saloon separated into two areas: the dining area at port side with a large table for 12 persons and a “leisure” area at starboard with soft & comfortable ivory white color upholstered sofas and a coffee table. All interiors are cherry & mahogany finish with lacquered ceilings and patinated oak floors.

The large galley is on the lower deck. It is fully equipped with Siemens stainless steel electric cooker and oven, refrigerators, dishwasher, ice makers & deep freezers, stainless steel sink and natural marble counters.

From the saloon the stairs lead down to the aft corridor with two double guest cabins and a full-beam 15 m2 Master Stateroom at stern. It features a king-sized island bed with storage drawers beneath and surrounded by well-crafted joinery that affords ample space for closets and cabinets.

Master Stateroom, as all the cabins, has it’s own en-suite with marble counters and ceramic sinks.
There are two triple guest cabins in the forward.

There is one captain & 1 crew cabin each with en-suite bathrooms accommodating totally 5 crew on board.

Two steel masts will carry about 200 sq.m sail area.
Motor power will be provided by two IVECO Diesel engines 220 HP each offering a maximum speed of 11 knots and 1100 nm range at 10 knots cruising speed. Electric power is supplied by two generators 27 kW, KOHLER, 380 V. AC, 50 Hz, with sound insulation cabins.
